Our formulas are made in small batches and left to settle. It is slower, it costs more, and it is the only way we know to keep a texture consistent from one batch to the next.

Eight products, and no ninth

We add a product only when the routine cannot be completed without it. There is no eye cream, because a good moisturiser is already an eye cream. There is no toner, because there is nothing left to tone.

Is LUMEN suitable for sensitive skin?

Every formula is fragrance-free and free of essential oils, and the range is built around barrier lipids rather than strong actives. If your skin is reactive, begin with the Cleanser and Moisturiser, then introduce one active at a time over two weeks.

Are your products fragrance-free?

Yes. No synthetic fragrance, no masking fragrance, and no essential oils are used in any LUMEN product. What you smell is the raw formula.

Do you test on animals?

No. We do not test on animals, and we do not sell in markets that require animal testing as a condition of entry.

What order do I apply these in?

Thinnest to thickest. Cleanse, then essence, then serum, then moisturiser. In the morning, finish with SPF. The routine builder on each product page will lay this out for you.

What is your return policy?

Thirty days, opened or unopened. Skincare is personal and it takes a few weeks to know. If it is not right for you, we will refund it.
